Mom, You Are Stronger Than You Know!

Dear Mom,

As I sit down to write this letter, my heart is overflowing with gratitude and admiration for you. You are the giver of life, the nurturer of souls, and the one who shapes the future. You are a reflection of the love and compassion of our Creator and Savior. You are the unsung hero of our society, the backbone of our family, and the glue that holds everything together.

I want you to know that your hard work, your dedication, your love, and your sacrifice does not go unnoticed. Even when it feels like no one is paying attention, your children are watching and learning from you. You are shaping their lives and their futures in ways that you may never fully realize.

God sees you, too! In Isaiah 49:15-16, He says, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands…” This is the depth of God’s love for you. He sees you and He will never forget you!

You wake up before the sun rises and stay up long after everyone else has gone to bed, making sure that the needs of your family are met. You juggle multiple responsibilities and wear multiple hats, sometimes feeling like you’re being pulled in a million different directions at once. But you keep going, even when you’re exhausted and overwhelmed, because you know that your family needs you.

I want to tell you that you are doing an incredible job! A much better job than you think. You are raising your children with love, compassion, and wisdom. You are instilling values in them that will serve them well throughout their lives. You are Jesus with skin on. You are teaching them to be kind, to be brave, and to be resilient.

Being a mom is the toughest job ever! There are days when it feels like nothing is going right, and you wonder if you’re making any progress at all. There are moments when you feel like you’re failing, and moments when you question whether or not you’re cut out for this job.

But I want to assure you that you are more than enough! You are doing the best that you can with the resources that you have, and that’s all that anyone can ask of you. Your children don’t need a perfect mom; they need a mom who loves them, who listens to them, who supports them, and who shows up for them, day after day. They need you!

You are not alone. God is always there for you and is always FOR YOU! And remember there are millions of other moms out there who are going through the same things as you. They are facing the same challenges, experiencing the same doubts, and feeling the same joys and sorrows.

There’s also us…Saddleback Parents! We’re here to help support you with resources and prayer! We also help connect you in community with other parents and find help though counseling and support groups!

Thank you for all that you do, day in and day out, to make our world a better place! Thank you for your love, your kindness, your generosity, and your courage. Thank you for being the amazing Mom that you are! May God bless you and give you strength, courage, and wisdom as you continue to pour out your love on your children and those around you.

With love and appreciation from,

A Dad
