A Simple Prayer With Your Kids

As a parent, it can be hard to figure out how to model prayer for your kids and show them the importance of having a conversation with God. One way to put prayer in front of your kids is to close the night in prayer after their bedtime routine. This way, prayer becomes a normal part of their lives.

The ACTS Model

If you’re looking for a simple way to model prayer to your kids, try using the ACTS model. This model stands for:

Adoration: Adoring God by telling Him how much you love Him
Confession: Confessing your sins and asking forgiveness
Thanksgiving: Thanking God for what He’s done
Supplication: Asking Him to meet the needs of others and yourself

By using the ACTS model, you can provide a simple way to teach your kids how to pray. Make prayer a part of your daily routine and show your kids the importance of having a conversation with God.
